Peterborough, NH. In a private and secluded studio.
The aim of this project was to reveal the hidden dynamics present in the studio to which I had been assigned. To accomplish this I marked the physical traces of the work process left behind by all who had preceded me, taking as the object of my focus a large, spare white fiberboard wall used for pinning up works-in-progress. A video animation record the action of returning pins to the thousands of holes I found, each representing a moment of concentration by a prior resident. The large wall installation represents the sum of their attention.
